Pasco County Released Inmate Records
Pasco County Corrections is the adult jail custodian. It operates the Pasco County Detention Center, also called the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center. A person is released from this jail when Pasco’s physical or legal custody ends or changes. That can mean return to the community after bond, recognizance, dismissal, court order, time served, or sentence completion. It can also mean transfer to Florida Department of Corrections custody, another county, federal authorities, or ICE.
Those outcomes are not equivalent. A county release date may mark a handoff rather than freedom. Probation or another court duty may continue after community release. A person transferred to state prison has left Pasco’s jail but remains incarcerated. A release record should therefore be read as an event record: who was involved, when custody changed, what authority caused it, and where the person went.
- Release
- The end or change of one agency’s physical custody.
- Discharge
- The end of a custody or supervision authority as defined by the record.
- Time served
- Credit completes the custodial part of a sentence, though other cases or supervision may remain.
- Detainer
- A request or legal basis for another authority to take or continue custody.
Pasco County Release Types
The label attached to a Pasco County release determines the next search. Past Arrests has shown local terms such as BOND, UNSUPERVISED ROR, RELEASED, RELEASED TO DOC, and TIME SERVED in bond-note text. The Clerk’s signed order and the jail movement record provide stronger context than a short label alone.
| Release event | Meaning | Next record |
|---|---|---|
| Bond or ROR | Jail custody ends while the criminal case may remain pending. | Clerk bond order and case docket. |
| Time or sentence served | Custody credited to that sentence ends. | Release sheet, sentencing order, supervision search. |
| Court order or dismissal | Authority tied to the affected case ends or changes. | Signed court order and disposition. |
| Released to FDC | Pasco custody ends, but Florida prison custody begins or continues. | FDC inmate record. |
| Other transfer | Another county, federal, or immigration authority takes over. | Movement entry and receiving-agency locator. |
| Probation or supervised release | Physical custody may end while supervision continues. | Court order and current supervision record. |
A death in custody is not a community release and should not be described as one. Likewise, “released from Pasco” says nothing by itself about a later hold.
Pasco Release Record Fields
The official Past Arrests interface preserves a detailed person and booking history. Its search accepts first, middle, and last name, date of birth, and End of Sentence. Results can contain booking number, booking date and time, age at booking, image availability, and a mugshot. The detail groups arrest history and charge data.
| Field | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name, DOB, identifiers | Identity and the specific person record. |
| Booking number and timestamp | The county custody episode and intake time. |
| Arrest agency, type, report ID | The arrest source and linked incident identifier. |
| Charge, code, level | The alleged offense and felony or misdemeanor marker. |
| Bond amount and note | Bond terms or local text such as time served. |
| Court case number | The bridge to the Clerk docket. |
| Disposition | The charge-level outcome shown in the archive. |
| Release Date | A charge-level date that requires whole-booking review. |
| Destination or authority | Often needs the release sheet or custody movement entry. |
End of Sentence may say “Currently Unavailable.” That is a missing value, not a current-custody finding. The public release date also may not be the exact door-out time. Request the underlying movement record when timing, authority, or destination matters.
The Pasco Past Arrests screen shows the identity search fields and its older-record warning.

The archived interface is the main county route after a person leaves In Custody.
Obtain Pasco Release Records
For jail records created after county government assumed Corrections operations, use the Pasco County public-record channel. Requests may be made through the electronic portal, by email at prr@mypasco.net, by phone at (727) 847-8147, by letter, or in person. Identify Pasco County Corrections as the department and ask for existing records rather than an explanation that staff would have to create.
- Give full name, date of birth if known, booking number, booking or arrest date range, and court number.
- Request the booking sheet, release sheet, and custody movement entry.
- Ask for actual release date and time, method or authority, and destination if maintained.
- For a date-wide inquiry, request the entry from the commitment-and-release list for the named date.
- Ask for electronic copies and a written cost estimate before work above a stated amount.
- If material is withheld, request the statutory basis and all nonexempt portions.
A PSO arrest report or older Sheriff-era custody material belongs through the Sheriff records route. The Sheriff lists PublicRecords@pascosheriff.org and (813) 235-6118. Court documents are requested through the Pasco Clerk records gateway. FDC has its own public-record route for state custody.
Florida section 119.07 allows inspection and copying subject to exemptions and lawful charges. Default copy maxima include 15 cents for a one-sided page, 20 cents for a two-sided page, and up to $1 for a certified copy, plus reasonable service charges for extensive use. Agency-specific fees can differ.
Pasco Release Record Law
Article I, section 24(a) of the Florida Constitution and Chapter 119 establish broad access to official records, subject to exemptions. Section 119.011 includes photographs and electronic data in the record definition. Section 119.07 calls for prompt acknowledgment and a good-faith response. Public access does not mean every field must be placed online.
Important limits include active investigative material, protected victim and personal information, confidential court records, juvenile material, and cases affected by sealing or expunction. Section 119.071 contains law-enforcement and personal-information exemptions. Juvenile records have a separate confidentiality boundary under section 985.04. Nonexempt parts ordinarily should not vanish just because an exempt field requires redaction.
Florida’s GS2 schedule assigns at least one anniversary year after release to Booking Records, Commitment and Release Lists, and Inmate Incarceration Records. Jail Docket Books are permanent summary records. These are government retention rules, not promises of equal web visibility. Sealing restricts access; expunction follows a distinct court and FDLE process. Neither process should be inferred from a missing portal result.
Note: A public record can remain legally retained even when it no longer appears in a public web search.
Pasco Bond-Out Release Records
Pasco’s Corrected Uniform Bond Schedule is Administrative Order 2026-025 PA-CIR, effective July 1, 2026. It addresses eligible pre-first-appearance bond processing. A judge may later change the bail decision, so the schedule does not establish the final result for every case.
Past Arrests exposes bond amounts, bond notes, dispositions, and court numbers. Those fields help distinguish a BOND or UNSUPERVISED ROR event from time served or transfer. The Clerk docket shows the signed order and whether the case remains pending. A bond release is not an acquittal, dismissal, or completed sentence.
Who Holds Pasco Release Records
Pasco County government, not the Sheriff, has operated the jail since October 1, 2022. This local handoff determines where a modern jail-record request starts. County Corrections is the logical custodian for post-handoff booking, custody movement, release, and jail photograph records. PSO remains the likely custodian of a PSO arrest report.
The official archive warns that records before October 1, 2022 must be verified with the arresting agency. That agency could be PSO or a municipal department shown in the record. The Clerk holds the criminal case, but not the jail’s physical movement log. Separating arrest, custody, and court files prevents a request from going to the wrong office.
Find Pasco County Released Inmates
A custody-specific search produces the strongest answer. First identify the last known system: Pasco Corrections, FDC prison, federal custody, ICE, or juvenile detention. County arrest does not prove county confinement, and a jail disappearance does not prove community release.
- For an adult county booking, open Past Arrests and search full name plus date of birth.
- Match the newest booking and read every charge-level release date, disposition, bond note, and court number.
- Check In Custody for a current or later booking. Do not treat absence as proof.
- Open the Clerk criminal docket using the case number or person name.
- If state prison is possible, search FDC released records, then supervision when relevant.
- Use VINELink for a specific-person event or alert, not sole certified proof.
- Follow BOP or ICE only when a federal or immigration handoff is supported.
- Resolve gaps with the release sheet, movement entry, and signed order.
The gold-standard pair is the custody agency’s completed movement record plus the court or receiving-agency record that explains the legal destination. Note when each source was checked. If dates conflict, rely on the record closest to the fact: movement for physical custody, the signed order for legal authority, and the supervising agency for current supervision.
FDC Pasco Release Search
The Florida Department of Corrections Corrections Offender Network covers people who entered Florida prison or FDC community supervision. Choose the search category that matches the question. Inmate Population is present state custody. Inmate Release Information covers a completed or scheduled FDC release. Supervised Population checks current state supervision. Absconder/Fugitive is a wanted-supervision status, not a neutral release list.
| Search input or field | Use |
|---|---|
| DC number | Best identifier when known. |
| First, middle, last name | Primary name search with spelling checks. |
| Aliases and identity traits | Separate similar names on detail records. |
| Status and location | Distinguish current prison custody, release, and supervision. |
| Release information | Read the date and FDC event shown. |
| Custody and sentence history | Confirm offense, case, and incarceration context. |
FDC release information updates nightly. A released result can continue to show a photograph, DC number, sentence and incarceration history, and a supervision link. It confirms the FDC event, not the absence of another hold or supervision. A Pasco-only jail booking does not belong in FDC unless the person entered the state system.
The FDC search menu displays the separate inmate, released, supervised, and absconder routes.

Selecting the correct category prevents a current-prison result from being confused with a completed release.
Pasco Recent Release Search
Pasco publishes no labeled rolling 24-hour or 72-hour release feed. Past Arrests is searched by identity and End of Sentence, not browsed as a chronological bulletin. For a same-day inquiry, open the newest booking, compare charge-level release dates, and check In Custody. For a three-day inquiry, define the three calendar dates and repeat that review.
The portal gives no fixed update cadence or online-retention promise. A just-processed event should be confirmed with Corrections or VINELink. Florida’s GS2 schedule recognizes a 24-hour commitment-and-release list retained for at least one anniversary year after release, but this does not mean Pasco must post it. Request the list for a named date through County public records.
Use Released Last 24 Hours for the focused same-day workflow and its records-request wording.
Pasco Release and Court Records
The Past Arrests Court Case number links the jail event to the Clerk’s more durable case record. Pasco’s Clerk says felony, misdemeanor, and criminal-traffic files are publicly viewable unless sealed, expunged, or confidential. Search by the court number from the booking detail when possible; a name search is more prone to mismatches.
The docket may show bond orders, judgment and sentence, jail credit, dismissal, probation, warrants, and termination events. It explains why the legal status changed. It does not establish the exact moment jail staff completed release. East Pasco Court Records is at 38053 Live Oak Avenue, Suite 210, Dade City, with (352) 521-4542. West Pasco Court Records is at 7530 Little Road, Suite 106, New Port Richey, with (727) 847-8031 and published weekday hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays.
For certified proof, order the disposition from the Clerk. Listed charges include $2 per name and year for an assisted criminal search, $1 per page, $2 per certified document, and $7 for an authenticated or exemplified certificate. Confirm the current fee schedule before ordering.
Pasco Post-Release Supervision Search
Probation, parole, and conditional release are different. Probation is imposed by a court and commonly supervised by FDC Community Corrections. Parole is discretionary release administered by the Florida Commission on Offender Review for a limited legacy-eligible population. Conditional release is a separate statutory form of post-prison supervision.
Search FDC’s Supervised Population by DC number or name, then use the office shown on the current record. Do not guess from the nearest office. Pasco-area offices include Dade City, Hudson, and New Port Richey, but assignments can change. If no FDC result appears, check the Clerk order because county probation or another arrangement may not be in the FDC search.
An absconder result means the supervising authority reports the person unavailable and wanted for retaking action. It is not a synonym for released. FCOR records are relevant for parole, conditional release, Commission action, and revocation.
Pasco Reentry Before Release
Pasco’s 2023 Sequential Intercept Mapping report describes jail reentry work beginning about 30 to 45 days before release for eligible sentenced people. It names BayCare or Wellpath and the End Recidivism Project among local roles. The University of South Florida also describes a Pasco Jail Reentry Project offering treatment, case management, and reentry services at (813) 492-4648.
These programs are navigational context, not a promise for every booking. Eligibility, timing, participation, and current services must be confirmed with the provider or Corrections. A pretrial release can occur without the same planning window.
When Pasco Jail Release Occurs
The county SIM report notes that some releases happen after normal transport and service hours. It says a person with an 11:59 p.m. release may voluntarily make a written request to leave the next morning. This is not an automatic holdover right or a universal release schedule.
The signed order may precede physical release while staff finish checks, property return, and other processing. Record the court event and actual custody exit separately. For a time-sensitive question, contact Corrections and request the movement entry instead of assuming the portal time equals the door-out time.
Note: Local release logistics explain timing gaps but do not replace the official custody record for a named person.
Getting Home After Pasco Release
The county report identifies transportation as a post-release gap and describes volunteer connections through the End Recidivism Project. GoPasco Route 41 began serving the Pasco Corrections Visitation and Resource Center in January 2026. Check the current route before relying on it because schedules can change and no overnight service should be assumed.
This route is relevant only to a person who actually enters the community. A transfer to FDC, another county, federal custody, or ICE follows a receiving-agency path. The release destination field or movement entry answers that first question.
Pasco Release Alerts and Registries
VINELink is a specific-person status and notification service. Select Florida, choose the relevant reporting agency, search by name or identifier, and verify identity before using the returned event. Registration may offer phone, text, or email alerts. VINE data can lag and does not replace a certified release record.
The FDLE Sexual Offenders and Predators Search is a separate registry for people legally required to register. It can show a qualifying released person’s public registry record, but it is not a list of all Pasco County released inmates. Use it only when registry status is the actual question.
Juvenile detention is outside the adult search. The Pasco Regional Juvenile Detention Center is operated by DJJ, and youth records may be confidential. Authorized guardians, counsel, DJJ, and the juvenile court are the proper channels.
Pasco Federal Release Records
The BOP Inmate Locator is the main public search for federal imprisonment. It accepts BOP Register, DCDC, FBI, or INS numbers, or name and identity traits. A former prisoner may show “Released” or “Not in BOP custody.” That wording does not rule out supervised release, state or local custody, or ICE.
ICE ODLS is narrower. It searches present immigration detention by A-number and country of birth or by exact biographical fields. A no-result screen cannot certify release. Some people do not appear, and recent events can lag. USMS does not provide a broad historical released-prisoner locator like BOP’s. Use the federal docket, counsel, and known custodial agency for a USMS matter.
No BOP or stand-alone ICE detention institution was identified in Pasco County. Federal or immigration custody can still follow a local case, so the receiving authority must be followed when the release record points there.
Pasco Release and ICE Transfer
Pasco Corrections has a 2025 ICE 287(g) Warrant Service Officer agreement. It permits specified jail-based warrant work around a scheduled criminal release and describes a transfer within 48 hours of that release, subject to the agreement and other authority. This makes “released from criminal custody” a precise local phrase.
A person can receive a Pasco release date and then enter ICE custody instead of the community. Check the jail movement destination first. If the facts support immigration detention, use ICE ODLS and the Detainee Reporting and Information Line at 1-888-351-4024 during its published weekday hours. Absence from ODLS remains inconclusive.
Compare Pasco Custody Searches
The source must match the custody event. Using a current roster to find a released person or FDC to find a county-only booking creates false negatives.
| Status question | Correct source | Main caution |
|---|---|---|
| Currently held by Pasco | In Custody | Not a release archive. |
| Past Pasco booking | Past Arrests | Release date is charge-level and may omit destination. |
| Florida prison custody or discharge | FDC inmate or release search | Does not cover county-only custody. |
| State supervision | FDC Supervised Population | Check the current assigned office. |
| Federal imprisonment | BOP Inmate Locator | Released from BOP does not rule out other authority. |
| Current ICE detention | ICE ODLS | No result is not proof of release. |
| Case authority and disposition | Pasco Clerk | Not the physical release log. |
Pasco County Release Facilities
Three detention systems serve different populations and require different records. The primary adult jail is Pasco County Corrections / Pasco County Detention Center at 20101 Central Boulevard, Land O’ Lakes, (813) 996-6982. Community release or transfer is checked through Past Arrests, the movement record, and the Clerk.
Zephyrhills Correctional Institution is an adult male FDC prison at 2739 Gall Boulevard, Zephyrhills, (813) 782-5521. Its releases and transfers belong in the statewide FDC search, not Pasco Past Arrests. A move to another FDC institution is not final discharge.
Pasco Regional Juvenile Detention Center is a DJJ youth facility at 28534 State Road 52, San Antonio, (352) 588-5900. Adult jail and FDC tools must not be used to expose youth records. Authorized family, counsel, DJJ, and juvenile court are the correct route.
